The Green Wand! Where is it?

Presently I'm painting my 2 bedroom villa. Not really such a hard task given I've had years of experinece painting. To the point that some years ago I had a BSA License to prove it.

In time gone by I've also plastered and tiled. After learning the basics and perfecting them I then went on to do paid jobs for plastering and tiling not to mention painting.

Why am I writing this blog?

Well, it's simple!

I can tile, plaster and paint (had the license remember) but one thing that is really urking me is I bought a new car last March (March 2009) and I listen to radio 4BC from 5.00am (sometimes 4.00am) till 6.00pm (it's getting worse cause now I go to sleep with the radio on) BUT I so hate missing out on the radio station.

Sound like something out of the ordinary? Not so!

I like to keep up to date with what's happening about various issues (sometimes too many) and 4BC is my way of keeping up with the latest and better still they are a talk back radio station so real people get to listen and hear real opinions! All of the announcers on the station are obviously educated and are up to date with relevant issues and that's why I like the station.

This is not a blog about 4BC whilst it may appear that way.

My real issue at present is that my new car as mentioned above, just bought new in March can't/won't play am radio. A thing of the past some might say. A definate fault I say and one that I'm not willing to accept. Whilst I'm willing to complain that my am radio won't work and more than willing to complain I've missed the Real Estate talk back and Alex Bernard on Saturday arvo, I'm quite within my rights I should think that I should be able to expect that something so simple as am radio should work in my new vehicle.

Ok, I know things could be worse! I could be driving down the highway with cruise contol on and have the car take control of itself. Oh, doesn't happen? Yes it does.

I've newer used cruise control and never will. In fact in my new car, God knows how, but all of a sudden I notice cruse control was on and I couldn't turn it off. Didn't look at the manual before driving my car because I was too busy working and I had the assumtion that if you put your foot on the brake it turns off automatically. NOT SO!

I had to pull the car up along side the road and have a look at every gadget. Do you think I could find it? No! I then turned the engine off thinking that it would canecel. Did that happen? No!

I had to sit there for 15 mins. and press every button under the sun to find out what would cancel the cruse control.

I'm so upset because I can't get the radio on am but can get fm and haven't yet had the time to take the car to the supplier to have the FAULT rectified.

Where of where is the Green Wand?

"Man-Cleaning" Anthony Gerace Radio 4BC

Anthony Gerace and Aaron O'Brien "man-cleaning" with the DIY Bond Cleaning Guide.

The DIY Bond Cleaning Guide was created for tenants wishing to save money on bond cleaning. Bond cleaners can cost approx. $400 - $500 for a two bedroom unit. In the current economy a lot of tenants simply cannot afford bond cleaners. Anthony and Aaron took on the challenge to clean their rental property with great results.

The DIY Rental Bond Cleaning Guide provides tenants with everything necessary to do their bond clean and offers 24 hr advice. This option is great for tenants wishing to save money on bond cleaners. With the economy the way it is it's proving to be a better option to get more of your rental bond back. Green Potions suggests that tenants whom don't have the time to complete the bond clean themselves to engage a professional bond cleaner for the more difficult and timely jobs such as the bathroom and kitchen. This allows for the tenant to still do a lot of the smaller jobs themselves and save money.

Anthony (pictured left) together with his flat mate Aaron O'Brien completed their own rental bond clean with the Green Potions DIY Rental Bond Cleaning Guide. The guys did a great job and were surprised how the Green Potions made cleaning easy and took the elbow grease out of the cleaning. Anthony says "I have spent hundreds of dollars on cleaning chemicals in the past - they're all in the bin now because" Green Potions do it all! Anthony and Aaron had the shower screens sparkling in no time with minimum effort.

Aaron O'Brien (pictured left)was amazed that the required cleaning tasks were easier than he had anticipated and says "Gone are the hours of scrubbing - these new products have made "man cleaning" a much more enjoyable experience. Go buy it now!" Both their Mum's would be proud of them doing such a great job. Well done guys!

If Anthony and Aaron engaged the services of bond cleaners their bill for the cleaning would have been between $400 - $500. By using effective cleaning products they got got in and got the job done and saved themselves money. In addition to saving themselves money they have learnt how to eco clean efficiently without money wasted on products that simply do not work!

How to clean kitchen exhausts & filters. Eco Friendly

Today we are going to show you how easy it is clean the grease & grime from kitchen exhaust units and filters. This is another cleaning chore that most don't like doing. Just like the oven racks, this doesn't take a lot of time either.

We are starting with the exhaust filters. Remember to turn the kitchen exhaust unit off before removing the filters. We are using a container for this task to partially clean the filter so we can show you the difference. Generally we use the kitchen sink but if you can't submerge the filters in the sink use the laundry tub or a container wide enough to submerge the filters. It is best to submerge the filters and only fill it with enough water to cover the filters. By doing it this way you save water and use less product.

You will need Green Potions No.11, hot water, container.

Place 100grms of Green Potions No.11 into the container.

Pour the hot water into container.

Place the exhaust filter into the Potion. You will see the grease beginning to dissolve immediately. As you will see, there is no scrubbing required at all. This Potion simply dissolves the grease and grime.

Remove the filter from the solution and rinse with warm water to remove any residue from the product. Allow to drain. Replace filter back into the kitchen exhaust unit. Cleaning the exhaust filters this way is easy, quick and eco friendly.

Time to start cleaning oven racks the eco friendly way

The time has come. This is the most easiest way to clean oven racks. It doesn't require a lot of time, it's eco friendly and provides great results.

As mentioned in the previous post, all you need is hot water, a stainless steel scourer and Green Potions No. 11.

Using an oven tray (so it gets cleaned at the same time)place 100grms of Green Potions No 11 in the tray.

Pour hot water into the tray to dissolve the Potion.

Place the oven racks into the oven tray. Leave the racks to soak in the Potion for 5mins. if the racks are have really baked on grease leave them to soak for 10mins. After allowing them to soak, use the stainless steel scourer to clean the racks. You will not need to use all your elbow grease to clean them. Just gently rub the scrouer along each part of the racks.

How to clean oven racks effortlessly

Cleaning ovens, YUK! No one is ever in a hurry to grab out a can full of toxic chemicals and start spraying the oven in preparaton of clenaing it. In all my years I would put the job off for as long as I could.

Toxic oven sprays are lethal in my opinion. A few years ago whilst doing a rental bond cleaning job we had no choice but to use the can of toxic chemicals. Green Potions weren't available a few years ago.

My daughter was on the job with us at the time. It was regular practice that other cleaners waited outside the property whilst I sprayed the can of toxins into the oven and return back inside once it had been sprayed and the oven door had been shut for 10mins. We made sure every window in the property was open. My daughter returned back inside the property and within 30 minutes the toxins in the property started to play havoc with my daughter. Occassionaly she suffers from asthma and it was quite evident that the toxins in the oven cleaner had an adverse affect on her.

We are going to show you how to clean oven racks simply, easily, with minimal effort, great results and in a time frame one would expect a product to work and it's Eco Friendly!

If you google how to clean oven racks it's amazing what you will find. Some people go to the lengths of spraying the racks with the toxic chemicals, placing them in plastic garbage bags and leaving them outside in the sun for as long as 24hrs. We will show you how to clean your oven racks in less than 1 hr with no chemiclas.

All you need is three things.
Water, a stainless steel scourer and Green Potions No.11
